Colonial Charters HeaderChris Jones, Head Golf Professional from Colonial Charters Golf Club in Longs South Carolina, joins Shan Coughlin host of Tee It Up Grand Strand for this edition of Play Colonial Charters April 2015 Update.  Colonial Charters is the locals course for those who are actual locals and for those visiting who want a course that makes them feel like a local.  It is becoming the local hangout after all because of their great evening specials like thirsty Thursdays, or wing Wednesdays, corn hole games, etc.  You do not have to participate in the events however, you can practice your “chillin’ pose” on the patio.  Yes, Chris demonstrates his “chillin’ pose” for us at the beginning and end of this interview.

colonial charters 2One new thing Colonial Charters has is a new website which has links to all the other courses associated with the Founders Group International.  Their website has the new look but it also still has the same great information, same great prices, and is still the best place to make your tee times.  This is spring golf season and it is in full swing.  Chris is really looking forward to the summer now as they are getting ready to host events and fun evenings for families and the locals (all kinds of locals) making it as social as it possibly can be.  Chris continues to raise the bar, pushing his staff for more creative ideas all the time.

Somehow Shan and Chris end up talking about Teslas driving themselves and “big pimpin'” but you will have to listen to hear all about that.  Click on the player above for all the fun and you can also download the audio file to your smart device for listen on demand.   In the meantime, for all of you listening and reading about the course and looking for golf information, go to their website www.colonialchartersgolf.com .  It has everything you will need to make your tee time and answer your questions including the best rates.  They will also be posting the summer specials, updates to course conditions, course renovation information and anything else you need to know about this local course.  Come be a local at Colonial Charters and ask Chris all about his swag.

Thank you for interacting with TheGolfDirector.com and for your interest in Colonial Charters Golf Club.  It is just minutes from the beach in Longs South Carolina right off Highway 9 out of Little River.  See you in the fairways!
