It was another booming success for the Ultimate Long Drive World Championships.

The event took place at the Par Tee Golf Center in Cayce, South Carolina from October 1–4, 2025.

Elite hitters from across the globe competed for titles in over 30 divisions, showcasing power, precision, and perseverance.

Ultimate Long Drive is the premier global platform for competitive long drive golf, welcoming athletes of all ages, genders, and abilities. With divisions ranging from youth (U7–U17) to senior (M70+), and professional to adaptive categories, ULD celebrates diversity and inclusion while pushing the boundaries of distance and athleticism. Competitors qualify through regional leagues and national tours, culminating in this invitation-only world championship.

Winners Galore

Adrienne Gautreaux-McDonald of Texas, a former South Carolina collegiate golfer and competitive bodybuilder, dominated the women’s field—claiming both the W40 Pro and Open Women’s Pro titles. Her performance electrified the crowd and solidified her status as a rising force in the sport.

Naoto Misumi of Japan stunned the field with dual victories in the M35 Pro and Open Men’s Pro divisions. He battled his way from the loser’s bracket to claim the Open Pro title. Maurice Allen, who dominated the M40 Pro Division, adding another milestone to his legendary career. Meanwhile Mark Stoneking swept the M50 Pro, M55 Pro, and M55 brackets with consistent power and poise.

Youth and adaptive divisions shined with heartwarming stories and fierce competition. Champions included Liam Norman (U7), Addisyn Garvey (U13 Girls), and Luis Yonemoto (U17 Boys), while Henry O’Grady and Charles Napinski led the way in Open Adaptive categories.Cayce Mayor Elise Partin praised the event as “world class,” and the city welcomed athletes from South Africa, Japan, Canada, England, and Germany. Despite Hurricane Imelda’s nearby threat, the event ran smoothly thanks to coordinated efforts from ULD™, Experience Columbia SC, and local volunteers.

ULD brings so much to Cayce and the surrounding area such as tourism, hotel bookings, restaurant traffic, and media attention — boosting the local economy.  It also boosts community engagement, Mayor Partin pointed out, highlighting the city’s commitment to inclusive, international sports and adaptive athletics.
