For this edition of Tee It Up Grand Strand we welcome back Beachwood Golf Club to the fold. Kevin Lawson, Head Golf Professional joins host, Dave Walker to the show. As the second oldest course on the Grand Strand, located in North Myrtle Beach, this Gene Hamm facility opened in 1968. They have worked hard to keep this course in modern condition and have recently worked to speed up those greens. As Kevin tells us they have done some other refinements on the course to get it into the shape that has been well touted. The course will be overseeded in November. However, unlike most courses, they WILL be Riding the Fairways. This Winter they plan on renovating the Sand Traps. If you haven’t played Beachwood in a while, you owe it to yourself to get back out there and see what they have done.
Fall seems to be picking up now that the Summer has changed it’s colors. You can see their seasonal specials by clicking on the Beachwood Golf Club banner on our Home page. Please contact the course direct through their website beachwoodgolf.com or by calling them at 800-526-4889 for your tee time. You will want to include them on your golf pack since they are such a great value especially through the Multi-Play East Coast Management packages, you can’t go wrong.
Kevin talks about the New Platinum Card Program for 2015. You can now get a $100 Gift Card when signing up for the Platinum Card. All of the New Specials can be seen on the Home Page of TheGolfDirector.com by clicking on the Platinum Card Banner. These Special Rates are the best rates the course has to offer to anyone.
Beachwood is a course that any type of player can really enjoy. Juniors have been playing all Summer, enjoying the FREE Play that is offered when they play with a paid Adult. As the Fall fills in with Golfers from all over that haven’t played in several months, this is the perfect course for their First or Second round in the package.
Entering their 43rd year in operation the course boasts sparkling lakes, towering Carolina pines and brilliant floral displays, including azaleas and crepe myrtles. It is centrally located, easy to find, and won’t take you all day to play unless you choose to stay in which case you will be welcomed. You can also chat with us here by clicking the Chat Now button.
