True Blue Golf Club
True Blue Golf Club was Mike Strantz’s fourth signature course creation. Featuring wide fairways, rare (for lowcountry golf) elevation changes, and undulating greens, True Blue ranked in Golf Magazine’s “2014 Top 100 Courses You Can Play”. The course offers a dramatic, scenic, and fun layout with plenty of challenge to satisfy any skill level. It is situated on a once thriving indigo and rice plantation and this par 72 course can stretch to nearly 7200 yards from the tips. Architect, Mike Strantz utilized and maintained the rolling terrain and natural vegetation. True Blue has a unique feel that cannot be duplicated anywhere on the east coast.
True Blue Golf Club History
True Blue opened in 1998 with rave reviews. Mike Strantz created True Blue to echo the characteristics of Pine Valley and Pinehurst #2. For his efforts at True Blue and Caledonia, Strantz was named “Architect of the Year” in 1998 by Golf World.
True Blue Golf Club Amenities
True Blue includes an 18 acre practice facility, an inviting grill room, and the pro shop is fully stocked with the latest in golf equipment and apparel. Customer service is a given at this well-managed and maintained facility. While True Blue is only minutes from the heart of Myrtle BEach nightlife, staying and playing on the south end of the Grand Strand can offer golfers the choice of a quieter and more laid-back experience.
True Blue is a must play on your next golf vacation.
