September 30, 2024 – Myrtle Beach, SC – Ultimate Long Drive, Inc. (ULD), the world’s largest long drive golf organization, is proud to announce the promotion of Kevin Porter to the role of President. Porter, who has served as ULD’s Vice President of Operations for the past two years, brings a wealth of experience and leadership to his new role.
Porter began his journey with ULD as a competitor, showcasing his passion for the sport from the ground up. His dedication led him to acquire a territory license for the ULD Mid-Atlantic League, where he excelled as a Tournament Director. His success in this role, combined with his commitment to the organization, earned him a promotion to Vice President of Operations in October 2022. During his tenure, Porter skillfully managed ULD’s League system and oversaw the North American Tour, contributing significantly to the organization’s growth and development.
Jeff Gilder, founder of Ultimate Long Drive, Inc., will continue to play an active role in the company as CEO, ensuring the organization remains at the forefront of long drive competition.
