Rivers Edge Golf Club

Rivers Edge Golf Club

Rivers Edge Golf Club is located 20 minutes from North Myrtle Beach. This Arnold Palmer designed gem sits above the Shallotte River and miles of grassy marshland offering gentle elevation changes and a challenging layout. The Sunday Ultra Dwarf Bermuda Greens are definitely something you’ll want to experience.

The staff, pro shop, restaurant, and practice facility at Rivers Edge will not disappoint you. This public course will entertain golfers at any level. High handicappers may feel a little intimidated on the first round, but this is a course you’ll want to play again and again. On the first replay you’ll know just where to hit the ball to set up the best next shot. By the third round, you’ll have it down and will have a distinct advantage over your friends who may not have been so privileged.  This is the perfect place to take your “favorite” opponent.

The facility can accommodate groups of any size. Consider Rivers Edge whether is is for your company outing,  golf family reunion, weekend group, or even if you’re a double or single. Take every opportunity to experience this unique course. You’ll be glad you did!

New information from the course –

After an extensive research and planning process, it was decided this week (June 25th) that the greens at Rivers Edge will be renovated this summer.  The renovation process will begin in the next few days and will take approximately 8 – 10 weeks to complete.  These new greens will provide golfers at Rivers Edge with some of the finest putting surfaces in the area and are part of our ongoing commitment to ensure an outstanding golf experience for all of our guests.

The greens will be regrassed with Sunday Ultra Dwarf Bermuda.  This variety has been in development for over twenty years and is new to the market.  Sunday Ultra Dwarf has been installed at some of the finest golf facilities in the southeast and features the speed, consistency and playability that all golfers enjoy.
