TheGolfDirctor.com Coverage of the Majors programming has proven to be a very popular addition. PGA Professional Hugh Royer III and Veteran broadcast journalist, George Honeycutt teamed up several weeks ago to lend their extensive expertise to the idea of creating programming to preview and recap the major championships of the year.
This week they added the 2013 Senior Open Championship at Omaha Country Club to the mix. You can listen for yourself, but I think I could detect a bit of yearning “to be there” from both Royer and Honeycutt. Honeycutt mentioned that he has once attempted to qualify for the Open as an amateur. and the younger Royer turns 50 this year will soon be eligible.
