The Golf Director(TGD) offers a new perspective on course reviews. In addition to providing and insightful overview of covered courses’ facilities and staffing, we provide a shot-by-shot and hole-by-hole breakdown of how to play the course. Course breakdowns (when possible) feature the head professional giving some quick advice on how to play each shot.
TGD course breakdowns are designed with pace of play in mind. There are no lengthy ad-libs and fluff… just precise information intended to help golfers decide where to play and how to play each course. Many golfers use the information provided to determine which courses to include in their golf vacation, then use them to prepare to play the course. There’s no question…a golfer armed with a TGD course breakdown will have an edge on his playing partners.
The current breakdowns are done in audio format and are downloadable as podcasts from the TGD Podcast Library. All overvies and breakdowns first aried live on TGD’s 24 / 7 Golf Talk Radio broadcast and were then placed into the library with a text version of the breakdown. TGD plans to roll out the video course breakdown project very soon.

In addition to the overview and course breakdown, we’ve created a course listing for each TGD destination and Community Pages for all featured courses along with score cards, yardage books, maps, contact information, and a discussion area. We encourage all players to visit the TGD Community, sign-up, and participate in the course discussions.
