Colonial Charters logo 125Shan Coughlin, host of Tee It Up Grand Strand is excited to have Colonial Charters January update with Head Golf Professional Chris Jones in the studio as Colonial Charters is under new ownership.  All news is that things are positive with the new leadership and the changes they have planned.  Now is the time for everyone to plan their golf trips especially those looking to get out of tall the snow and ice.  Another change that we are seeing is that more golfers are making their plans early and even though the Myrtle Beach area has trained folks to wait until the last minute for the best rates, courses are filling up and those tee times will not be available.

Colonial Charters is well known by the locals as the place to go after work, to hang out after your round or to stop by if you just need to get out of the house.  This is true for our part-time locals too whether you are here for a weekend, week, month or permanently.  They go out of their way to make sure golfers and those just stopping by for a beer on Thirsty Thursdays feel welcome.  With the newly renovated clubhouse including the large U-shaped bar and large patio area with fire pits and lounging areas, it is a great place to relax.  The staff has nightly specials like $.25 wings on Wing Wednesday, $1.25 drafts on Thirsty Thursday and Bingo on Friday nights.
