Raised in Virginia, moving to the Twin Cities of Minnesota for 10 years taught me many things but the number one thing I learned is that there is something about Carolina Boys you just don’t find anywhere else. I guess that’s why I married one. So with all the talk about the RBC Heritage Classic in Hilton Head South Carolina and now the Wells Fargo Championship at the Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte North Carolina, I decided to take a look at just how many Carolinians are in the field and how they have been doing so far this year.
To be fair, I only looked at where they were born and not whether they still live in either North or South Carolina. This information came from their PGA profiles and some information was missing, so if I omitted someone, I do apologize and please check your info page. There are 11 total in the field and only 2 did not go to Carolina schools.
