Myrtle Beach Golf PackageThere’s no shortage of competition for Myrtle Beach golf packages, and this season the PGA 5 Package by East Coast Golf Management is a clear winner. The golf course choices are second to none, and the $150 gift card makes this one a no-brainer. This is clearly the best 5 round package we’ve seen and probably the best on the entire east coast.

To get the attention of golfers traveling to the area, courses, course cooperatives, and course management companies are pulling out the stops. The recovery from the Great Recession has been steady, but slow. Peak seasons along the Grand Strand have seemingly gotten shorter lately. The recent Spring season was affected by cold and wet weather here at the beach, as well as cold and snowy weather that kept golfers at home during the early part of the season. The summer has been unusually wet in Myrtle Beach, and all that extra water has golf courses in pristine condition for the Fall season.

Fall season began in early September and will run into December, with the strongest part of the season being right now during October and early November. The mild fall weather makes this a favorite time of the year for most golfers. The blue skies and low humidity make playing anytime during the day an awesome experience.

The PGA 5 Package includes the following courses: Azalea Sands, Beachwood, Black Bear, Brick Landing, Burning Ridge, Brunswick Plantation, Cape Fear National, Carolina National, Colonial Charters, Crow Creek,  Eagle Nest, Founders Club of Pawleys Island, Heron Point, Indian Wells, Indigo Creek, Lockwood Folly, Pearl East, Pearl West, River Oaks, Rivers Edge, and Sandpiper Bay. There is maximum flexibility with the included $150 gift card. It can be used on food and beverages, merchandise, or additional rounds. Specific information about the PGA 5 Package can be found HERE and details about many of the courses can be found right here on The Golf Director as well by navigating to our Feature Myrtle Beach Golf Courses, or by clicking the course banner to get their individual sites.

In addition to the PGA 5, East Coast Golf Management also offers the PGA 2, 3, and 4. These packages include lunch and 2 drafts or soft drinks through January 14, 2015. In addition to these great golf packages, ECGM also offers the Platinum Golf Membership. The Platinum Golf Membership includes free rounds and a gift card as well.

If fall Myrtle Beach Golf packages are not in the cards for you this year, the PGA 5 Package will be available in the Spring as well. In any case, booking early is advised. Waiting til the last minute to get the best deals may have worked over the past couple of years, but getting your preferred tee times now will require to you book as soon as possible. Booking late can actually cost you more money now that many of the courses are utilizing a yield management system that allows them to increase rates as tee sheets begin to fill up.
