This edition of Tee It Up Grand Strand takes us to one of our favorite golf courses in all of Myrtle Beach. Our host Brian Stefan gets behind the counter at Prestwick Country Club his buddies Jason and Mike to talk about what is going on this summer at Prestwick. There is certainly a lot to talk about.
First we talk with assistant professional Mike DeLuca about what is going on out on the driving range. All summer long Mike leads the staff in hosting group and individual clinics and lessons. The practice facility at the driving range is very large and very well maintained at Prestwick Country Club. Mike and the staff offers a wide variety of options to golfers when it comes to improving their golf game.
Lessons include junior clinics and clinics for ladies. They also offer 1 day clinics for individuals and groups. If more than one lesson is what you’re looking for Mike can arrange that too. They offer golf lesson packages that include playing the course. All lessons are available to be video taped to help the golfer look back at the lesson and their swing again and again to continue improving long after leaving the golf course.

The golf course is very busy all summer long as well as the practice range. Not only can golfers find great rates to play all summer but they will also find charity golf events to participate in as well. Prestwick Country Club hosts many events all season long.
The big event at Prestwick each summer is the Father & Son Weekend event in July. July 21-23 is the dates of the event this summer. The event is played over several courses along the Grand Strand. Prestwick is proud to be apart of this great Family Weekend Tournament. In fact, PGA Head Professional plays in the event with one of his daughters. There is a Father/Daughter component to the weekend and he takes the time to enjoy it with his girls.
