Kings Grant Golf Club is located in Fayetteville North Carolina. This locals’ favorite course caters to the nearby communities including Methodist College and Fort Bragg, one of the largest Army installations in the world. Built in 1990 and designed by architect Jim Holmes, Kings Grant is a semi-private course featuring Bent Grass greens that love this fall and winter weather. King’s Grant has a unique mixture of fun and challenging holes. Each hole gives golfers a different look with many elevation changes and a strong emphasis on shot placement and accuracy. There are five sets of tees to provide maximum enjoyment for all levels of golfers. Two beautiful cypress lakes, frequent natural areas, and well placed bunkers will keep your attention as you play your round amidst the scenic layout.
Over the last few years, the ownership has worked hard to embrace play from outside its membership and to encourage the public to come out and give it a try. This effort has included bringing in the Myrtle Beach based company East Coast Golf Management to assist with marketing and management. Much has been done to renovate the course including help with drainage and bunkering. While not a terribly long course, it has been called “visually challenging” and will make you think a bit not only on the tee shots but those approach shots as well. With this focus on outside they, they have not left out the members and there are also plenty of activities planned. These include the Veterans Day Stableford and Wednesday night Glow Ball this month. Then next month, December 11th, from 6-8pm Members are invited out to the Member’s Christmas Party where they will enjoy complimentary appetizers and unbelievable discounts in preparation for the big holidays. Ask in the golf shop about mens and ladies leagues and opportunities to play with the rest of the membership.
Currently there are four types of members at Kings Grant Golf Club. These are the Golf Memberships, Junior Memberships, Social Memberships and Platinum Memberships. As a golf member, you enjoy a $100 thank you gift card and Platinum Golf Membership explained below, 14 day advance tee time reservations, charging privileges, 20% off food and beverage purchases as well as apparel and hard goods (alcohol not included). You also receive pool and tennis privileges, practice facility and pavilion access. Junior Members ages 26 – 40 receive all of the above benefits at a Junior price point. Social members receive a $50 thank you gift card, access to the pool, tennis facility, practice facility and pavilion along with charging privileges and the discounts discussed above. Last but not least is the Platinum Golf Membership which includes 48 hour advanced tee time reservations, member only events, play 4 rounds get the 5th free along with other benefits at 30+ courses including Kings Grant.
