Crow Creek Golf Course

Out on the 18th hole at Crow Creek Golf Club, head golf professional Jimmy Biggs shares course conditions, winter golf updates and some great specials with Shan Coughlin, host of this edition of Tee It UP Grand Strand.  With temperatures in the 70s, Biggs said these warmer winter months have contributed to the growth of the grass. “The ryegrass is really coming in nicely. I think it might be one of the best overseeds we’ve done, not necessarily because of the process we do, it’s the same process, it’s just the weather has been very cooperative for the ryegrass,” he explained.

Coughlin said the weather has been so nice along the Grand Strand, that if crow creek 1-2she were in New England or Canada right now, she’d definitely be looking for some flights.  Biggs laughed, “Yeah, maybe a quick trip right around New Year’s or something,” he said. “…I tell you, it is absolutely gorgeous out here and that’s kind of what we are hoping for leading into the spring. No offense, but I hope you all are buried in snow up north and we can just keep talking about how sunny and warm it is down here.”  “Absolutely,” Coughlin agreed. “Because we are in the mecca of golf, and this is what we do. This is our service we provide. We need to bring you happiness on the golf course, right?”

Crow Creek Golf Club is offering some specials which are sure to make golfers smile. Currently, golfers can take advantage of a one hour lesson with lunch provided, and a round of golf for only $50. This special offers great value and is available through the end of February.  Additionally, Crow Creek is currently offering 9-hole rounds for only $25. This option is great for the shorter winter days, but also offers the benefits of a quick round and a less crowded course.

Crow Creek ClubhouseWith the new year, Crow Creek is promoting the PGA (Play Golf Again) package options for spring golf. After a successful year offering these packages, Biggs said golfers can take advantage of the special again for 2016.  The PGA packages are offered by East Coast Golf Management (ECGM) and includes three great golf packages. The PGA 4, 5 and 6 packages offer golfers the chance for each golfer to play four rounds of golf, and receive a $100 gift card; play five rounds of golf, receive a $150 gift card; play six rounds and get a $200 gift card. These gift cards can be used towards food and beverages, apparel, and replays.  “It’s a great opportunity to just get more value for your money, on top of an already great package,” Coughlin said. Biggs said golfers should start booking for spring golf, as tee times have already started to fill up.

When visiting Crow Creek Golf Club, golfers can expect to find new bunkers – installed two years ago, large, striped ryegrass fairways, and fast-rolling bentgrass greens that keep visitors coming back for more.  For information about golf packages, course conditions and more, visit www.CrowCreekGolf.com or call (910) 287-3081.
