Arcadian Shores Golf Club is one of the best classic design courses along the Grand Strand.  It is located in Myrtle Beach along “restaurant row” it is easy to get to from anywhere in the area.

Tree lined fairways are the norm on this Rees Jones design.  The fairways may be player friendly but don’t stray too far from the short grass!  Shot number two will be played “in the shade” if the tee ball goes astray.

The green complexes is what really makes Arcadian Shores a treat to play.  Large undulating greens guarded by sizable greenside bunkers makes players think a little before selecting a club.  Hitting the green in regulation may not be an achievement if landing on the opposite side of the green.

Once on the green the players get to putt on some of the best greens around.  The Tifton Bermuda grass makes for a fantastic putting surface.  That helps considering the challenge of tackling the contours and subtle breaks in the greens.

Arcadian Shores is provides a challenge to golfers of all ages and skill levels.   With tee boxes reaching as far as 6800 yards, be sure to pick the proper set of tees to maximize the fun.  There are 64 precisely created and located bunkers and lakes to navigate.
